Catalogue Product Photography

I knew the brief would be difficult as the products were stock which needed to be sold and had to be handled with care due to the nature of the material used. I explained to Dan what I required and, as my knowledge of what was needed to achieve this was limited, I found his constructive input invaluable. Dan worked within the given timeframe and produced some fantastic photographs. I will definitely be using his services again.

Clean, Crisp Imagery for eCommerce

I always think of catalogue product photography as the next best thing to customers actually holding your product in their hands. It’s a question of controlling light, shadows, and reflections to make sure the product looks its best, while still providing an honest impression of what the item they will receive is actually like.

Whether you need a catalogue product photographer to help you bring a new range to market, or if you’re just looking to refresh your current ecommerce photography, I’ll ensure each image works as hard as possible to drive sales and deliver results.

Absolutely amazing service! The photos exceeded my expectations, they are fantastic. I cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks Foxlight!

Catalogue product photography is ideal for e-commerce sites such as Amazon, Ebay, and Etsy. Typically, a product will need a set of images - perhaps a front, side, and top view, to show the customer around the product. Or, the photographs might demonstrate the product having different “modes”, for example showing it both packed for storage and unpacked ready to use. Specific details can also be highlighted with a much closer or even macro (magnified) view.

It isn’t always necessary to use a pure white background, of course. If the products are for sale on your own website, the background could reflect your brand’s colours. Or in cases where the product is available in a range of colours, they can be photographed on complementary or contrasting coloured backdrops.
